The backdrop to every dinner party is the tablecloth, a blank canvas curious for the ephemeral experience to come. The Lune Tableau Collection is a considered expression of that often-overlooked starting point. 

In hosting events at Lune, we travelled the globe in search of the perfect table coverings, contemporary styles that combined an intentional aesthetic with timeless storytelling. Coming up empty handed, we began using fabrics - some new, some recycled - to create the immersive, sweeping tablescapes we'd been dreaming of. 

The eight designs in our Tableau Collection were each inspired by an iconic silhouette in fashion, art and design. A functional exploration of the tension between substance and absence, Tableau is a conversation that extends your canvas beyond the physical to dance in the imagination.
